Zach Hart enters his second year as an assistant coach for the Gadsden State softball program, bringing with him a background in coaching and player development at the high school level.

Before joining the Gadsden State coaching staff, Coach Hart made several stops at different high schools across multiple sports. Notably, he served as the head softball coach at Section High School for three seasons. Also, in 2022, he played a key role in helping the boys' basketball team secure a state championship title at Section.

This season, Coach Hart will take on an expanded role, working closely with the team’s pitchers and catchers. In addition to his on-field responsibilities, he is heavily involved in recruiting efforts across the Southeast. Coach Hart was most recently nominated for the IOY award in 2024.
